Working to combine blog and news with static items.  Currently, WMCN operates from both their Tumblr blog and existing website.

This will be my room for the next five months. I kind of like it, even though it looks a little plain. There’s A/C, and it’s one of the closest rooms to the bathroom. I am staying in the Tagore International Hosue, which is student housing on campus for kids mostly in the Study In India program at the University of Hyderabad. It has its own kitchen with really good food, but they kind of fail when they attempt to make western dishes (like spaghetti with sauce that looks and tastes more like salsa than red sauce)

I am flying from Msp to Chicago, and then the big one– Chicago straight to Delhi — about a 15.5 hour flight. Delhi to Hyderabad is about a two hour flight.

There were four versions of the Casablanca posters that went into print, but these were the only two that I liked.  I forget the font name on the black and white one, but it’s pretty classy.

I really like my use of the icons for each show, but wasn’t happy with the background choice.  I ran out of ideas and time to make it look better.

I didn’t make the illustration, but I found it and loved it too much to not use it.

A pair of roller-skaing posters I did for welcome back week. For the one on the left, I borrowed the colors and design from an old show flyer that I can’t find the source of.  The one on the right ended up getting used.

A series of posters I did for MacJazz’s funk show.  The first one I made was the text only version with Helvetica, which I wasn’t really planning on using, but a member suggested using the slogan “funk isn’t dead” and I like how that looked in big bold lettering.  The second version was with Stevie Wonder, but they said they weren’t playing any Stevie in the concert (shame), so I vectorized an image from an Earth Wind and Fire album cover.  I forget the name of the font, but I think the name has something to do with grilled cheese
